Mazury Air Show

Dear Mr. Ripoche

I represent Aeroklub Krainy Jezior (The Great Lakes District Aeroclub) and have the pleasure of inviting you to visit Poland and particularly a very charming Masuria Region. The best and the most attractive occasion is XVI International Aviation and Masuria Friends’ meeting and Mazury AirShow 2014 planned between 31st July and 3rd August 2014. The open letter addressed to seaplanes lovers is attached together with all the important information for the pilots.

In our Masuria water region during our meetings we were the hosts to many seaplanes, such as:S-38 Sikorsky, Cessna 172, Husky, Piper PA-18, DHC-2 Beaver or Super Petrel.

In many reports to the media, the pilots taking part in the events gave excellent recommendations for our organization and the wonderful conditions of getting to know The Masurian Lake District by seaplane. In case you need a direct opinion of pilots who stayed in Masuria, we recommend  Rudiger Hahn rudiger.hahn@web.de  a German Piper PA-18 plane pilot (3 year- experience) or Tom Schrade (tischrade@aol.com) an American pilot of S-38 Sikorsky (2 year experience).          

Pilots, who will decide to accept our invitation and come to Masuria to spend a holiday or a longer weekend and get to know the region as tourists, will get all the necessary help and assistance and we will appoint a lider-attendant, to make exploration of the Masurian lakes and interesting places easier. If our invitation made you interested in coming, we will willingly provide you with the additional information and we will await a formal entry of flying to Ketrzyn and detailed information regarding your personal needs while staying here in Masuria.
